ELNET-US in coordination with our team from ELNET-Italy had the privilege of hosting the Honorable Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Italy during its Leadership Reception in Manhattan on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. Our gathering, “Ties that Bind: Strategic Interests in the Italy-Israel Alliance,” was a powerful reminder of the vital relationship between Italy and Israel. This exclusive event, attended by 70 people, included the Italian Ambassadors to the U.S. and UN. ELNET-US President David Siegel and ELNET-Italy CEO Roberta Anati also addressed the gathering, as guests enjoyed a curated selection of fine kosher wines from Italy. Minister Tajani conveyed we are in a battle of “democracies” vs. “autocracies” where nations must step up to ensure the U.S. and Europe are partners in defeating Iran, Russia and China. To ensure America’s enduring commitment to the security of Israel, ELNET must increase our work to solidify our allies in Europe.
