ELNET’s delegations have brought thousands of European policymakers and influential leaders to
Israel over the last decade. While 80% of the U.S. Congress has visited Israel, only 10% of European
counterparts have done so. The premise for establishing ELNET was in fact to turn this challenge into
an opportunity, which ELNET has successfully done.
ELNET hosts top European parliamentarians and opinion makers, many of them visiting Israel for the
first time ever. As a non-governmental, nonpartisan organization with offices in multiple countries,
we are uniquely positioned to bring members of parliament to Israel from across the political
spectrum. Our delegations feature top-level decisionmakers, including former prime ministers,
sitting ministers and deputy ministers, high-ranking members of EU bodies, heads of key
parliamentary committees, speakers of parliament, as well as other important influential leaders.
ELNET’s delegations are carefully planned and aim to provide participants with a powerful and
motivating eye-opening experience helping shape an independent and well-informed view of Israel.
ELNET accomplishes this by developing programs that include meetings with Israel’s most senior
government officials and influential politicians, strategic tours and visits to sensitive security sites,
briefings with independent policy experts,IDF personnel, and startups in the Israeli hi-tech
ecosystem, tours of national infrastructure, meetings with minority groups that embody Israel’s
commitment to democracy, visits to leading NGOs, and trips to places of historical significance.
Each delegation is tailormade to fit the needs and interests of the participants. ELNET has curated
delegations focusing on topics ranging from aerial defense, to cyber security, climate change, crisis
management, innovation, war trauma prevention, and more. Whether by helicopter or by naval
boat, ELNET takes delegations to sites and meetings where no other delegation has gone before.
Participants have met with Israeli prime ministers, presidents, senior ranks of the IDF, top ministers,
and innovators. These programs contribute to fostering strong relationships between top Israeli
officials and leading opinionmakers across Europe.
