ELNET hosted the first-ever Finnish delegation, also joined by Estonian MPs, in Israel to explore regional security challenges, innovative resilience strategies and Israel’s cultural heritage. The program included strategic briefings by the IDF, visits to Kiryat Shmona and Majdal Shams, and discussions with both defense and trauma experts.
In late October, ELNET hosted delegation of MPs from Germany’s Bundestag European Affairs committee and MEPs from Latvia and the Czech Republic, focusing on Israel’s innovation ecosystem, and its geopolitical challenges post-October 7. This program aimed at reinforcing the importance of European-Israeli partnerships in driving technology and sustainability and addressing global challenges.
ELNET brought a delegation of high-ranking foreign military officials to Israel and the Gaza Strip to observe the IDF’s military challenges, including Hamas’ tunnel networks and the complexities of rescuing hostages. The visit underscored Israel’s dual battle: fighting Hamas on the ground and in the global information arena.
