ELNET, the leading organization dedicated to strengthening relations between Israel and Europe, announced the launching of a new office in Italy.
The opening event for officially kicking off the establishment of ELNET-Italy took place at the Italian Senate. President of Constitutional Affairs, Senator Alberto Balboni, hosted the event and introduced the new affiliate at the prestigious Sala Zuccari in the Italian Senate.
CEO of ELNET-Italy Roberta Anati presented the new office’s mission of strengthening the relationship between Israel and Italy.
The opening event was attended by Israeli Ambassador to Italy Alon Bar, President of the FDI ruling party Senator Lucio Malan, and ELNET-Israel CEO Emmanuel Navon.
ELNET-Italy will be an important new hub for deepening relations between Israel and Italy, with particular focus on energy, security, strategic bilateral business, and innovation. By strategically establishing a dedicated presence in Israel’s close Mediterranean ally, ELNET Italy will actively engage with key government officials, policymakers, business leaders and experts. This proactive approach will facilitate the exchange of know-how and expertise and promote both bilateral and regional cooperation based on shared challenges and interests.
