In January, The purpose of this program was to show the participants the Israeli cyber ecosystem, its keys to success, challenges, and potential for international cooperation. Israel is considered as one of the world’s leading centers of expertise and innovation in the field of cybersecurity. The sector is made up of around 450 companies, including top global companies, startups, and technology labs. The program provided an in-depth understanding of the cyber challenges that Israel is facing.
The tailor-made program enabled participants to deepen their understanding of Israel’s cybersecurity ecosystem. During the four-day visit, the cybersecurity issues were discussed from several angles: strategic (meetings with think tanks), political (meetings with politicians), military (briefings with the IDF), and economic (meetings with entrepreneurs).
The delegates had the opportunity to attend the Annual Conference of the Institute for National Security Studies as well as Cybertech – an international conference and fair that brings together worldwide cyber actors, leading multinationals, SMEs, start-ups, private and corporate investors, venture capital firms, and experts. One of the participants of the delegation, MP Costance Le Grip, who serves as the Secretary of the study-group on Cybersecurity at the French National Assembly, was invited to speak at the conference on the topic od cyber diplomacy.
